I grew up in science and caught fire in marketing.

I grew up watching bananas over-ripen on the counter. They would devolve from bright, canary yellow, to mottled brown, and seemingly spoiled

And then something inconceivable would happen. My mom would use the bananas. She would take something others deemed to be “bad,” and would turn bananas into moist, magical baked goodness. A brown banana was always the beginning of something great—banana bread.

I set out on a mission to help people understand food and the science behind it. And as I fanned that spark, I found the flame that grew around it was not just about food, but about communicating complex topics and their value as a whole. That flame was marketing.

I’m a strategic marketing leader with a track record of driving results across a broad spectrum of digital and traditional marketing disciplines. I’m experienced in growing established brands, launching new-to-the-world products, and revitalizing heritage businesses through digital, retail and e-commerce. I’m hyper-passionate about customer experience, story-telling, and problem-solving, and am always asking, “how can we do this better?”

I have big company experience balanced by an entrepreneurial hustle and a bias for action, and outside of work, you can find me in Chicago playing euchre, puzzling, and cross-stitching.
